  It was my first time donating plasma today. I had a great experience at this facility. I gave myself plenty of time because the first visit takes about 3 hours (after that it's about an hour per visit). Also you must be VERY VERY hydrated, feeling generally healthy, and have had a large healthy (non-greasy) meal before hand, otherwise you will probably get super dizzy and have to stop the donation. No coffee before and no alcohol the night before. Other than that, everyone was informative (and fun!) and the facility was very clean. The first 6 donations pay $50 and after that it's a lower rate. For me, based on my weight/how much I can donate at a time I get $25 my first donation of the week and $30 for the second. Not bad at all! Do keep in mind there are a lot of health restrictions for safety and many of these can disqualify a donor for that session, a few sessions, or a few months. Also, don't lie or you will be banned for life!

  I came here with a good intention to help save lives and get a little money for doing it. Instead I walk away disappointed. I'm an Asian and they make me feel discrimination. After I spend 3 hours with all the B's I have to go through and I have to see the nurse she check me out and want to know what that bump I have on my shoulders. I told her that is my bones. Then she makes me feel like something is wrong with me and want me to see the doctor on Wednesday and I can't come because I have to go to work. So I came back few months later and they told me that I can't never donate plasma here because I didn't see the doctor I ask them if I could have another appointment with the doctor and they said no and that I could never give plasma here. I think the problem is no body here don't want to work so they come up any excuse to turn you down so they don't have to go to work. When I walk in this place their was nobody here because they turn every body down with their stupid excuses and the nurse is stupid. Don't come here you will wast your time.
