  Great food but HORRIBLE table this time. We have been to Sammy's on numerous occasions and the food never lets us down. This time we went there was a wait, as usual. When we were called they wanted us to sit at a table that was right by the door, it was cold out and it was in direct line of the door. We asked if we could pass and take the next table. The RUDE host said if we didn't take that table he would put us at the bottom of the list; about another 45 minutes. We took the table and after a few minutes everyone in my party of 5 had to put their heavy winter coats on. Not a good way to enjoy your meal. There was another table next to us that the same thing happened to and they also put their coats on after sitting for a few minutes. I was very conflicted as to how to rate this, I give a 5 star for the food and wait staff but a 1 star to the host who greats and seats people. I guess never go there in the winter?

  I love the food. The seasonings for the meats is spot on, really savory. There are a lot of options on the menu, something for everyone. They frequently hand out coupons and have a fair number of specials going on. The atmosphere is good too.
  
  I’ve been in multiple times; sit down, order to go, online pickup, and phone pickup. The service can be spotty. Usually it is okay but occasionally it is sub par. Staff can seem more interested in their conversations than helping. Entire group order that was lost and had to be remade. It was busy but it took 2 hours for the order to arrive and was only given a 20% discount.
  
  Food is really good but you are charged for it all alterations and additional ingredients are an additional charge. Tacos come with two toppings only. I keep returning so it is worth it to me.
